After an Overseas Customer Requests a Quote: Requirements, Terms and Objections

Confirm specifications, quantity and packaging, check quotation terms and versions, and handle price, lead-time and sample questions without overstating commitments.

A request for a price does not mean an accurate quotation is possible yet. Unconfirmed models, unclear quantity units and missing packaging details make a rushed quote more likely to require rework.

Using wholesale drawer organisers, this tutorial covers requirements, quotation explanations, samples and objections. You will create a requirements sheet, quotation checks and English reply templates. It provides no real prices and does not let AI decide pricing, payment or lead times for the business owner.

01 · Separate known and unknown requirements

For “500 pieces, best price please”, establish whether 500 means individual boxes, sets or cartons, which model matches the photo, whether custom packaging is included and the destination. These differences can materially change the quote.
